Echo Ridge is a 65 acre farm, CSA, and nursery operation, situated along a winding country road outside of picturesque Middletown, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley. We are located in Frederick County, Virginia – 20 minutes south of Winchester and 45 minutes from Manassas and Leesburg.
Since 1989 we have been growing and selling heirloom vegetable plants and planting an ever larger vegetable garden. In 2008, we began a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program to help share the bounty of fresh healthy vegetables with our neighbors.
Echo Ridge Nursery has been growing ornamental shade and flowering trees for the past 20 years. With over 2,000 trees available to both wholesale and retail customer, Echo Ridge Nursery offers competitive prices and a wide range of both variety and size.
Our wide open lawn, gardens filled with flowers, and 19th century barn and farmhouse make Echo Ridge a beautiful backdrop to the perfect farm wedding.
Join us and return to a simpler time...
• When fresh produce went directly from the field straight to your table. Produce is only handled by the farmer and picked no more than a day or two (sometimes that morning!) before you receive it. There are no intermediaries who process, package and ship food cross-country.
• When your food was safe. We believe that being stewards of our land means promoting natural crop and land management. We aren’t certified organic but we don’t use any GMOs, or chemical pesticides. Our soil is improved with natural compost and beneficial insects.
• When your food tasted better. Heirloom vegetable varieties are chosen for taste not for shipping ability. All are fully ripened in Virginia soil.
